Muddy Paws Cheesecake's “24th Annual Cheesecake Sampling” Event with Toy and Pet Food Shelf Drive, Crafts Bazaar with Local Goods, and Live Music

Muddy Paws Cheesecake, the St. Louis Park bakery known for its Chicago-style cheesecakes available in more than 200 flavors, is hosting its 24th Annual Cheesecake Sampling on Tuesday, November 29th from 4-9 p.m. The event will include tastings of 35 different varieties of cheesecake; a donation collection of toys for under-served children in two neighborhood programs and a donation collection of pet food for the four-legged members of families in transition; a crafts bazaar with unique locally-made items; a photo booth; and three live music acts. 

The celebration will take place at the Muddy Paws Cheesecake bakery and warehouse located at 7600 W. 27th Street, Suite B2, in St. Louis Park. The event is open to the public and admission is FREE with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy for children in the STEP—St. Louis Park Emergency Program and Perspectives, Inc. – Breaking Cycles, Creating Hope program; or a donation of an unopened bag of pet food that will be donated to STEP and People & Pets Together Pet Food Shelf.

Guests will enjoy coffee from Torke Coffee Roasters and live music performances by acoustic musician Brian Peterson, Ye-Ye Pow Band, and the acoustic duo Paul Droegemuller and Adam Terzich. Several local makers will have their wares available for purchase at the crafts bazaar and Muddy Paws Cheesecakes will also be available for purchase. Some vendors will accept credit cards but others will only accept cash so guests are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Muddy Paws Cheesecake was founded by Chicago native Tami Cabrera after she relocated to the Twin Cities in 1991.  Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, she’d grown accustomed to the delectable Chicago version of the beloved dessert and when she couldn’t find that style of cheesecake here, she decided to open her own business. Today, her St. Louis Park-based facility produces hundreds of Chicago-style cheesecakes weekly in more than 200 flavors. Every cheesecake is made from scratch in small batches using as many local ingredients as possible. There are also gluten-free, lacto-free and vegan options for those with dietary restrictions or preferences. Last year, Muddy Paws Cheesecake launched Camp Cheesecake, the world’s first cheesecake food truck. The bakery offers delivery throughout the Twin Cities Metro and ships nationwide.
