Planning
Wedding planners come in a variety of flavors, so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs. There are day-of-coordinators, consulting planners and full-service planners. Each job has its own requirements and can be personalized depending on if you want to be involved every step of the way or if you want to sit back and let your coordinator work their magic.

Day-of-Coordinator  // Planners that offer this service will generally meet with you 3-4 times before your wedding day for some preparation and professional advice. As your wedding approaches, your coordinator will become more involved in your planning until the big day finally arrives! On your wedding day, your coordinator will completely take over all wedding responsibilities so you’re able to savor your entire wedding day, from start to finish.

Consultation  // Utilizing a wedding planner for consulting isn’t as common as day-of or full-service coordination is. Consulting gives a bride full reign of the planning journey, but with some invaluable advice from an educated professional. Consulting can range from 1-15 hour long meetings between bride and planner involving scheduling and selecting vendors. This Bridal Survival | Planning a less stressful wedding

You may have heard (or experienced) that planning a wedding can be stressful, but believe it or not, it doesn’t have to be! A sweet bride-to-be can transform into a walking stress mess from the pressure of planning such an elaborate event, but Forever Bride has done the research to help you prevent a case of the wedding blues. We’ve taken notes from the most successful wedding planning advice to make your experience a piece of cake. service is perfect for the bride who would enjoy doing everything herself but needs a little guidance.

Full-Service  // A full-service planner dedicates their time to one wedding at a time. Planners offering this service are involved with planning from the day they are hired until the happy couple is off to their honeymoon destination. Full-service planners help the bride with anything and everything wedding related whether its day or night. Often times the coordinator will run all the tedious errands that busy brides don’t have the time for. Attending all appointments from dress fittings to a cake tasting are also part of a full-service planner’s job. This service is for the bride that would like to enjoy the planning process by passing along the stressful tasks to the coordinator.

Personal Attendant  // A personal attendant can be a family member or a close friend — And you can have more than one if you wish it! It’s usually a good idea to have a personal attendant that understands your vision for your wedding. Your personal attendant will be taking care of you on your wedding day so you can be care-free and completely in the moment.

Some duties of a personal attendant are:
• Having an “emergency kit” prepared.
• Taking care of your dress; making sure it stays clean throughout the day.
• Sticking with you during the reception to make sure everything goes smoothly.
• Helping you and your bridesmaids get ready; this involves bringing snacks to the make-up room and attending to any of your pre-wedding needs.
• Collecting and keeping your personal items safe and on hand during the entire day. • Lastly, your attendant will probably be the one holding up your dress while you use the bathroom. Thank you, personal attendants! We love you.

Pass your schedule along to the entire wedding party and make sure they understand how important it is to follow. Having this schedule will keep everyone organized and hopefully on time.
