Planning a Winter Wedding

Winter in Minnesota. What a wonderful yet terrible time of the year! Everyone gets cozy indoors and cuddles up in front of the fireplace. Norwegians even have their own untranslatable word that captures the all-encompassing joy of winter, hygge. And those of you planning winter weddings are in for a very special experience of your own!

Picture this, big chubby snowflakes falling in the crisp air wrapped up with your new hubby in a cute blanket by the ice-covered lakes… There are so many benefits to planning winter weddings outside of the obvious picture perfect opportunities! With an early sunset, you can say your ‘I Do’s’ in front of a fireplace surrounded by your loved ones lit by candle light. With flower options being rather limited, you can spruce up your tables with delicious (and affordable) Frasier fir and white pine garland. Hot chocolate or apple cider bars are not only adorable but also a delicious party options for your guests. There are so many cute winter ideas to keep your guests cozy and happy. I’d love to help plan some ideas with you!

There are a lot of perks and a lot of great ideas to make your winter wedding special, and Leeah would love to help you plan for the perfect day!

Thanks Leeah sharing your insight with us!
