Hoppy WeddingHopping Wednesday!
This week we are thrilled to bring you a real wedding with a lovely local couple! This amazing DIY Vintage Inspired Ranch wedding with Nicole and Brett Bartley!
Nicole and Brett hosted their amazing DIY Vintage Inspired Ranch Wedding at Trellis Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies in Stillwater, MN with the reception following at Nicole’s family ranch in Osceola, WI.
The couple is pretty traditional and wanted to have a vintage inspired wedding that mimicked some of the elements involved in their parent’s weddings- so sweet!
With a rustic, vintage theme in mind, Nicole collected chandeliers and furniture from auctions and thrift stores to use in the reception tent and also in her homemade photo station. The entire day was accented in shades of lavender and ivory- how about those incredible 1930’s inspired bridesmaids dresses!? Ahhhmazing.
The couple also made a quick getaway in a vintage Ford T-Bird before heading to the reception- so fun!
Nicole’s dad built an outdoor bar for the event which they affectionately named ‘The Horseshoe Saloon" and the night was topped off with a 30 minute fireworks display compliments of the FOB (Father-of-the-Bride). We are swooning!

Hello Wedding Hoppers!
Good gracious! Erin Johnson Photography and Girl Friday have styled and captured quite the showstopper in this super hip meets vintage inspiration shoot. From hand picked pieces compliments of On Solid Ground Vintage Rentals to delicious delicacies from Sweets Bakeshop, I don’t think they could they have packed anymore local talent into this magnificent shoot!
The inspiration for the shoot came from black and white striped candlesticks, a love of books, and a special pug named Hank. In Seven Oaks Farm’s huge hayloft, a 9ft love story poster was hung between velvet drapes from Festivities. The dining table was centered on top of a black and white chevron rug and covered with a steely-lavender pin-tuck tablecloth. The table was set with a neutral floral arrangement dotted with succulents and dogwood, striped black and white candles in mercury glass candleholders, and finished off with vintage mismatched china and silverware.
Sigh! Get inspired Wedding Hoppers- we hope you enjoy!
